Happiness is life set to music

Clare Mill

Introduction

Hello, and a very warm welcome to Rhythm Time Andover.

My name is Clare and with class teacher Ruth, we run classes across Salisbury, Andover, Monxton, Fordingbridge, Verwood and Ringwood.

Music has always been a big part of my life from a young age. I learnt to play the flute and piano as a child and played in various orchestras as well as singing in choirs. I went on to study music at university and worked in an administrative role in the music industry after this.

I took my older son George to a Rhythm time toddler class in 2012 and we both really enjoyed it. Even in the short space of time that I attended with George I could see how he developed over the classes, particularly gaining confidence in doing the rhythm patterns into the microphone! When my second son Henry was born that year he attended the class from one week old and until recently has been going to the baby class. I can really see the benefits of attending a Rhythm Time class, Henry loves music especially playing percussion instruments and is already very vocal which I'm sure is down to all the singing we do in class and at home!

From maths to memory skills, through to walking and brain function, each class has changing core elements to ensure all senses are stimulated. Our classes are structured and age appropriate to ensure the maximum benefit each week.

Having been designed to meet the Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum, you can be assured that Rhythm Time is much more than a sing-a-long, but we are still social, relaxed, informal and lots of fun.

Please don't take my word for it....read our testimonial section to see what families say about us. Why not come along and see a class in action for free?
