Rhythm Time, one of the UK’s most successful music providers for under 5’s, is promoting the importance of nursery rhymes in its toddler and pre-school classes.  The idea was instigated by Kathy Doolan, founder and owner of the music franchise group. Kathy’s passion is to introduce music to parents and children in a fun way whilst at the same time helping them to learn all the basic musical elements.

“The benefits of music, rhythm and rhyme are of paramount importance when it comes to a young child’s development,” says Kathy who is a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and was previously Head of Music at a Scottish school. “So in addition to our normal songs and activities, the teachers at Rhythm Time in Solihull are currently including additional nursery rhymes in their sessions that parents may have forgotten” she adds.
