How do I book the classes?

It's so easy! You can book a class directly with your local franchisee or if more convenient you can book on line. You can find your nearest class here

How much are your classes?

Our costs are very competitive and include complementary items including a Progress Ladder, a Baby Book (for babies booked into our baby classes) and Toddler CDs (for children enjoying our Toddler course).

The price is roughly the same as a cup of coffee and a piece of cake (yum!) and it may vary slightly throughout the country. So just get in touch with your local contact and they'll be able to give you all the information you need.

What happens if I miss a class?

That's not a problem - you can do a 'make up class'. Just discuss this with your local franchisee.

Do I have to enrol my child at the beginning of a term or are you flexible?

Yes we are flexible and you can enrol your child at any time during the term. You can be assured of a warm welcome from us all whenever you join.

Do I have to pay for the whole term?

When you join, you pay for the remaining weeks left in that term.  We would love to do 'pay as you go' but we found classes got too busy - so it's better for your little one if you book in advance.

When are the classes run?

Classes are normally run during term time within school hours, but we also offer summer and Christmas classes.

How long are the classes and how long is each term?

Your little one can concentrate for only a short time so we have action packed half hour classes with lots of short duration activities.

The term is usually 12 weeks but can be shorter or longer depending on school holidays.

Where are the classes held?

Our classes are usually run in Church Halls or Halls within your community. Now, our courses are also taught in many nurseries and even reception classes in schools.

What is the course content?

All the classes have been created by Kathy Doolan (DRSAM, LRAM), a music teacher who trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. While Rhythm Time is certainly great fun, it is much more than just a sing-along. It is a carefully created musical experience which uses a variety of exciting songs and multi-sensory activities to help your child's development. For more information on what we do on each age-related course, please click on the appropriate link below:

What course would be best for my child?

We believe it is very important to offer material which is appropriate to the age of the children in the class since they are all at different stages developmentally. For instance a 3 year old needs more challenging material than a baby. Therefore for your child to get the best out of their Rhythm Time experience, we offer four age-appropriate courses, namely:

  • Young Baby Course (birth to 6 months)
  • Baby (2 months to 14 months)
  • Toddler (15 months to 3 years)
  • Pre-school (3 years to 5 years)

Also, our courses cover all the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
