News: Spring Time Comes to Rhythm Time
Rat-a-Tat features in all the Rhythm Time classes and is greeted cheerily by the children each week when he pops out of his hat. He encourages the children to listen, sing and join in with interactive musical activities such as listening and repeating rhythm patterns and learning to recognise the difference between loud and soft and fast and slow. As a special end of term Easter treat Rhythm Time teachers helped Rat-a-Tat to hand out Easter eggs and awards to the children for completing their Spring term at Rhythm Time.
Rhythm Time founder and owner Kathy Doolan says: "Rat-a-Tat is an integral part of our classes. Children of all ages love him and grow up with him as they progress from our music classes for babies, through to our toddler and pre-school classes. At Rhythm Time we firmly believe that every child is innately musical and that this ability should be given the chance to flourish. There has been much research done to confim that early musical experiences have far reaching benefits and everyone at Rhythm Time is passionate in this belief."
