Rhythm Time, one of the UK's leading children's music franchise groups providing quality music classes to the under-fives, has announced excellent re-enrolment rates of children attending their music courses.

Latest figures from the award-winning company show positive retention rates across the company, with one franchisee's rates reaching over 80% for next term.

Children can join Rhythm Time classes at any time before they start school, however most normally start as babies and then progress through the 14 age-related courses and finally finish with the pre-school classes. This ensures that they enjoy the maximum developmental benefits at each stage.

Vicky Taramasco, music franchise owner for South Birmingham and North Worcester, is enjoying exceptional re-enrolment rates. When asked what influenced customers in coming back to her classes, Vicky believed it was due to a combination of factors: "Although there's a lot of competition out there in the marketplace, we find that children and their carers still prefer to continue at Rhythm Time. We think this is because we have an excellent and well planned programme of music courses, written specifically by a music teacher. Our ethos is also that every child is an individual and Rhythm Time aims to meet the needs of each and every one of them. Finally, we have great rapport with all the parents and carers - the classes are enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age!"

Vicky also has a high percentage of children who are now in their last few pre-school terms, having started at Rhythm Time as young babies. One child is currently enjoying her final 14th consecutive term.

Kathy Doolan, owner and founder of Rhythm Time music franchise group, is delighted that so many parents of children attending their classes re-enrol on a continuous basis. "This shows that the parents and carers see the genuine benefits of Rhythm Time, and they want their babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to continue to enjoy all the developmental aspects of our classes," she quotes.

Rhythm Time was established 17 years ago by Kathy, who is a firm believer in the power and importance of music for babies, toddlers and pre-school children.

Kathy, graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama, created a set of unique music courses especially written for the different age groups.

"Music is fundamental to a child's development" says Kathy, "and that's why it's really important that children progress through the different stages in order to build on the skills they've learned and continue to stimulate all their senses."

Earlier this year, the music franchise group launched a Progress Ladder for each child to take home. This innovative and fun tool was created to help parents and their children track their progress through the different music courses. Every term, each child receives a certificate that contains a star sticker that is then placed onto the appropriate section on the progress chart. The child's progress can clearly be seen as they move up the ladder.

Rhythm Time is a family-owned business and continues to grow from strength to strength.
