Birmingham South and Worcestershire North Rhythm Time children's music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers have raised funds this week for Birmingham Children's Hospital by wearing a hat to their class, with all proceeds being given to the Oncology Unit.
In addition to weekly children's music classes held in various locations across her area, Vicky Taramasco, (franchisee owner) and members of her team, work very closely with the Speech and Language Department at Birmingham Children's Hospital by bringing their fun music sessions to the patients who are admitted onto the wards. This project is very close to Vicky's heart as she was previously a Paediatric Oncology Nurse at the hospital prior to running Rhythm Time.
"The children have looked marvellous in their hats this week and we have had a great time seeing the many creations on display. l would like to thank everyone who has supported us and BCH," says Vicky.
Rhythm Time's unique sets of children's music classes have been specifically written for the different age groups: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. The sessions are multi-sensory and involve singing, movement and playing percussion instruments. As children grow in confidence and reach each key developmental stage, they make a seamless transition to the next age appropriate class.
Rhythm Time always looks forward to welcoming new children and parents/carers. A free trial can be booked by phoning Vicky on 0121 447 7632. Alternatively, visit www.rhythmtime.net/vt22
