It’s going to be an exciting race to the finish for Rhythm Time parents and carers as they join in the Tour de France celebrations at their music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. To celebrate this momentous occasion, local Rhythm Time franchisee, Lynne O’Malley and her teachers are organising a variety of ‘Tour de France’ activities in their classes. One such challenge involves the creation of a giant ‘yellow chain’ made up of individual chains created by the children and their mums, dads and carers who attend Rhythm Time music classes. This will be then be used in classes for a number of musical activities.
‘We wanted our children and their carers to join in the fun of the Tour de France and we’ve created a
number of ways to make the week memorable,’ says Lynne. “In this particular activity,
we’re going to see how long our chain will be and then use it in our music classes – the children
will love it!’ she adds.
Lynne has also devised a number of ‘Tour de France’ related songs for their music classes that the children will easily recognize from their regular classes.
Rhythm Time was established in 1995 and classes run throughout the UK. Their award-winning and multi-sensory music classes have been created to enhance the development of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. For a free trial near you, call Lynne on 07789 895894 or visit www.rhythmtime.net/ma34
