News: Rhythm Time Awarded National 5-Star Franchisee Satisfaction

Kathy Doolan and Neil Clough

Established pre-school music company Rhythm Time has been awarded 5-Star Franchisee Satisfaction by Smith & Henderson, one of the UK's leading experts in employee engagement.

The Awards, sponsored by RBS and held at their prestigious offices in Bishopsgate, were held at the end of November 2015 and guests included Neil Clough from BBC's The Apprentice.

The Survey is undertaken by Franchisors across the UK to determine how satisfied its franchisees are, and benchmark company performance. The 5-star badge is only awarded to a select few franchisors who achieve above average results across the 5 areas of training & support, the franchise system, culture & relationships, stewardship, and value & rewards. Rhythm Time achieved 91% satisfaction from its 32 franchisees across the UK.

Founders Kathy and Brendan Doolan said, “We are delighted to be awarded the 5 stars as it underlines our commitment to help and support our franchise network throughout the UK.”

“Our passion and belief is that music is fundamental to every child’s development and we have just introduced young baby classes where they come to us now from birth," they added.

Rhythm Time runs music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.  Created 20 years ago in Solihull, by music teacher Kathy Doolan, Rhythm Time now has 33 franchises in the UK from Aberdeen to the Isle of Wight. Their Solihull franchise is still one of the biggest in the company and is run by local mum of two, Keeley Green.

“The Rhythm Time business is fun, flexible and fits beautifully round family commitments.  It can be a small, part-time way to supplement a family income or a bigger venture when you employ others to lead the classes as I do,” said Keeley.

“I am delighted to be part of the Rhythm Time brand which is committed to helping and supporting myself and the franchise network throughout the UK," she adds.
