Rhythm Time in Shrewsbury have been shortlisted in three categories of the 'Businesses for Children Awards
2015'. These Awards in Shropshire have been set up to recognise activities for children that educate, support
or provide activities for our future generations.
Julia Casperd, local Rhythm Time franchisee, is delighted with these nominations. She has run Rhythm Time music classes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers in the Shrewsbury area for the last 14 years. Her classes have been shortlisted in three different categories: Best Baby Activity, Best Franchise and Best Under Fives Educational Activity.
Rhythm Time classes were created by Kathy Doolan (music teacher and graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama) to enhance a child’s development. The award-winning, multi-sensory children’s music classes also aim to develop a child’s confidence, creativity and co-ordination.
More recently the popular Young Baby Courses (for babies under 6 months) have been developed to show parents the importance of music in helping with their baby’s development whilst also giving them a variety of suggestions on baby activities they can do at home.
“We’re so thrilled that parents have nominated us for these awards and furthermore that we have been shortlisted by the judges in three
separate categories. Parents tell me our classes are the highlight of their child’s week, so it’s so exciting to be recognised in this way,” says Julia.
Rhythm Time and other shortlisted businesses find out if they have won at the Park Inn Hotel, Telford, TF3 4NA, on March 14th 2015.
Free trials are available for all classes If you would like further information on these local classes, please ring 07789 867589.
