Being nominated and becoming a semi-finalist in one category of the Isle of Wight Venus Awards is an honour in itself, but Claire Rees (Warne) of Rhythm Time Isle of Wight is a semi-finalist in three categories:
‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ – Sponsored by IFPL
‘Home Business of the Year’ – Sponsored by the Beacon
‘Business Mother of the Year’ – Sponsored by Wightlink (for which the finalist is voted for by the public this week).
Shortly after becoming a single parent with two young children in 2009 and setting up a new home, she took on the Rhythm Time franchise. Claire not only took it on because of her love of music but “for the challenge!” Claire, who has run Rhythm Time music classes for just over seven years, has met some big challenges during that time but keeps going despite it all.

Rhythm Time music classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are delighted to announce that they are the first member of the Children's Activities Association (CAA) to achieve Silver Accreditation.
This demonstrates that Rhythm Time's customer service module meets the CAA's high standards for running activities in a manner designed to best meet the needs of the children and parents attending them. It also ensures that customers are communicated with effectively and respectfully, and encouraged to provide feedback on the activity.
