Local musical mum, Janet Boylan, is thrilled to be embarking on her perfect, life-changing career by bringing some of the nation’s favourite, award-winning, developmental music classes to babies in Lisburn and Holywood, Northern Ireland.

The music classes have been written by a music teacher and specifically designed to help with development and learning, starting with stimulating baby classes and leading to exciting toddler classes and educational pre-school sessions. There are also Young Baby Courses that have been created for very young babies from birth to six months.

Janet, a mum of two boys (aged 3 and 6), understands the importance of finding activities for little ones that are both fun and engaging.  As her children were getting older, Janet really looked forward to the social aspect of spending time with other parents of similar aged children.

With a BSc in Psychology, Janet studied Child Development as well as music to Grade 7.  She believes passionately that music has a huge number of benefits for babies and young children and is excited to be able to share those benefits with families in Northern Ireland.

“I feel privileged to have this opportunity to bring my skills together in a career where I can see parents and their children bond through music. A Rhythm Time music franchise is an ideal career for anyone who has a love of music with the flexibility of a job that can be fitted around family commitments,” she quotes.

Janet believes that more needs to be done to educate parents on the key benefits of music, especially at an early age.  There are many good reasons to encourage this enthusiasm: Research shows that children who are actively involved in music at an early age generally develop better literacy, co-ordination and concentration skills, amongst many other things.

“Another great reason to come along is that it’s fun for both the children and their parents,” adds Janet

Any parents or carers with babies or young children who would like a free trial should call Janet on 07525 407431. Alternatively, visit www.rhythmtime.net/pr to book your class online.
